How long does the battery last in a Ford F-150 Lightning?

According to the Detroit automaker, you can maintain a day’s worth of range with Ford’s Lightning Advanced Range Battery, which has a 131kWh capacity and an incredible 9.6kW of output.

According to Ford, the Lightning’s extended-range battery can be charged from 15% to 80% using a 150 kWh DC fast charger in just 41 minutes.

The regular range Lightning can be charged from 15% to 80% in 44 minutes.

Ford claims that the F-150 Lightning, when equipped with the longer-range battery, can travel up to 300 miles, while the base model can travel 230 miles.

Ford estimates the range of the base F-150 Lightning Pro, Lightning XLT, and Lightning Lariat to be 230 miles when using this setup and a battery with a normal range capacity of 98 kWh (EPA statistics are pending).

GMC has already confirmed that they will be producing a Hummer SUT in the near future.
